Tables of Content
What started out as a last minute way of filling an extra page in the debut issue of The Beat magazine in 2008, the Table Of Contents immediately became a fixture on page 3 of each of the 44 issues that followed. It was my personal canvas to play with, cut loose, and show off my chops. Some were planned out well in advance, others came together after the rest of the issue was settled and almost ready to go to press.
This became my way of challenging our readers rather than just presenting text and page numbers (boring!), while playfully inviting them to decode my message, find the hidden jokes and Easter eggs, look inside, and explore our magazine (and our County), and check out all of the cool stuff to be found in both.
